We love the all inclusiveness of Viking cruise line! Being picked up at the airport and transferred to our hotel or ship eliminates the confusion and stress when arriving in a foreign airport that you are not familiar with. If you choose a pre or post trip there is most often a city walking tour of the area you are staying, and always a Viking host who can answer any questions you may have as well as help you reserve a special tour you might be interested in. A bus then takes you to your boat and the rooms are beautiful and welcoming. We like unpacking once and our room being cleaned daily. The food and drink are delicious. There is a pre dinner time that guests can meet in the lounge durning which the activities director introduces the next days excursion and the chef talks about the meal choices and identifies his recommendations. The daily tours and guides are most often excellent as is the cruise staff. Because of our past experiences with Viking we most likely will not change cruise lines.
