We've cruised with Viking in the past, and they definitely don't disappoint. They deliver exactly what we want in a vacation.

Their staff is professional and capable while remaining warm and accessible. By day two the bar staff had already memorized my favorite cocktail, the maître d knew where we liked to eat for dinner, and the wait staff brought me a special serving of the vegetables I love.

We made sure to go on every shore excursion and booked multiple extra tours, because we're always so impressed with the quality of the guides. So many of the excursions give you access you wouldn't have without Viking. They also regularly have "visitors" on the ship that share about local culture in an intimate setting. We added time in Amsterdam with prior to our cruise, and we were very glad we did. Pick up at the airport was a delight, as was check in.
