We wanted to cruise during Thanksgiving without flying, so we chose this one from NO since we could drive. We stayed at Hampton Inn-Metairie where we could leave our car for a week.

Embarkation was a breeze at 11:30. Had lunch and drinks then on to room at 1 where we found our bags waiting for us.

Debarkation was easy. We literally just walked off the ship at 8:15 and were back on the road by 9.

Cabin Review

Ocean Suite

Cabin OS

Large cabin with ample storage space. Hangers in closet can't be moved from one bar to another. Very difficult to use. I suggest bringing some from home.

Balcony smaller than on other ships but fine enough.

Night stand lamps are stuck in middle leaving little room on table. Why not put on wall? Bathroom had two sinks and plenty of storage. Door to shower/tub was clear so not much privacy if two people want to use room at same time. Tub was the absolutely narrowest I have ever used. I am not large but could hardly get in and out. Too bad if you drop your soap since you can't turn around. Real problem getting in and out despite the bars.

Hair dryer was in drawer in dressing area. The cord was so short that even a short person has to stoop way over.

Would like to have a coffeemaker as on other cruises.

Ocean Suite had good perks such as priority on/off, 2 large water bottles, free laundry bag, and cookies.

Port Reviews

Key West

We have had excursions on other cruises so chose to walk around until ready for food and drink.

Freeport

Been here before. Got off to look at shops but bought nothing.
