Ship life on NCL pride of america

If you want to see Hawaii and see five Islands in seven days this is the cheapest way to do it as Hawaii is very expensive to see and do things. I am from Montreal Canada here are my experience's. Bring lots of money!!!!it is expensive I flew Delta to Atlanta flight was smooth no delays there or back right on time. I stayed at the Marriott resort in Waikiki as it had a transfer to the ship on embarkment date. The hotel was clean and bedbug free and the staff was great and check in was smooth and it was close to everything around.Excellent place to stay in. Embarkment for people who transferred from this hotel was amazingly quick we got on board ate some lunch in their Aloha cafe while waiting for our rooms to be ready. I decided to do some shopping at the prestige mall in Waikiki it was good to get out and come back in time for sailing. As the rooms were a tad delayed due to a larger guest capacity I guess... The weather was so so that day cloudy and rainy at times... Saturday Night: Went to the Liberty dining room every single night, was served by a Raul and Henry and we lucked out these men really worked hard the service was the best I experienced on board this ship along with the front desk. Rachel was wonderful too one night.. It was my sons birthday and they delivered a pink cake to our room after I ordered a blue one the woman said she only made pink that day...a little shocked at her attitude, especially since I paid separately for the birthday package on board before I left Canada. NOTE: not all the service on board was the same quality very inconsistent. The best front desk person was Salem in fact everyone at the front desk was amazing maybe that manager can coach the others on board who look like they hate their jobs... One day I tried to go to a wine tasting event on board was refused entry saying it was full and capped out by a very rude employee of NCL no where in newsletter did it say limited seating it was at the Na pa wine bar never went back again and even though the front desk tried and gave me a complimentary bottle of wine it kinda turned me off that place. Bar manager showed up apologized however people will never remember what you say or do they always remember how you made them feel did not feel good about that one!

ATTENTION GUESTS if your lock in your door turns orange immediately call security it means your battery in your door is about to go and you will not be able to enter your room like it happened to me for over 25 minutes till they figured it out...waste of time waiting.

Cabin Review

Obstructed Oceanview

Cabin OK

Obstructed view with a life boat in front of it however we did get some view not great mostly ports, much smaller cabin than Royal Carribean.Quiet location bathroom small. Needed to remind them to separate beds after specifying it in original reservation.
