The "Beach"
Another picture we sent the kids
Another picture of me enjoying the "beach"
our view of the beach
great picture of us (had to crop out half the pic)
2nd picture of the sand, water and "beach"
sent this to our kids! We have our feet in the beautiful beach you saw on t
bucket of what I dont know...
Best picture of our "Beach" trip.

We were somewhat disappointed in some of the food. Example: There was none of the normal toppings for a salad-egg/cheese/croutons, just vegetables and strange tasting black and green olives. The ranch is either a very cheap brand or watered down as it has almost no taste. The syrup for pancakes/french toast/waffles is the same, either cheap brand or watered down, strange taste. The scrambled eggs everyday were very wet (not done), the bacon had no crisp to it at all. They always had fresh fruit out but most was room temp. (oranges, apples, pears, ect.) Watermelon was good and sweet and cold someday's and others it was not. Chocolate Extravaganza day (last night) was good, desserts had more flavor than the rest of the days. Guys Burgers was very good, in the mornings you can get a homemade omelet which is pretty good as long as you watch them to make sure they eggs are done. Mixed drinks and service was amazing, but felt 10.00 was a bit much. The coffee that is included with the trip is just sad...coffee, sugar, creamer no flavored creamers? I personally found this very frustrating. Main dining was very nice and food was good. Sodas need to be refrigerated! Putting a warm soda on ice ruins the soda, my husband bought the bubbles package and everytime the soda was flat. Best soda we got the whole trip was at Freeport. Room service was wonderful!

Pictures were wonderful but way to pricey! We both felt we were conned so to speak as they were very busy when we were talking to one of the people about our photos and how much things were. You get side tracked as they are trying their best to sell you all of them. We spent over 320.00, when I asked if there was a cheaper package he said no...yes there was, we could of bought each picture in our hand for 240.00 but by the time we figured this out it was the next day and to late. Smoking areas are less than adequate. When the ship is being fueled, the only place to smoke is a small area in the bar (not even the whole bar) doesnt make sense, and no e-cigs outside other than the designated smoking area?? Thats just not right. The cost of the Excursions were just outlandish, most of the time, normal everyday average income people dont bring an extra 1,000.00 to 1,500.00 AFTER paying for the cruise, usually the cruise itself is a stretch.

The ads are misleading, they show beautiful pictures of the gorgeous Bahamas but do not state (unless its in tiny print somewhere) that the pictures they show are excursions you have to buy that are expensive otherwise you will NOT see those beautiful scenery's. We saw blue water in Nassau...next to a stinky work zone and ugly tires and cranes and trash...that was the free view. It was called Junkanoo Beach and it was most definately JUNKanoo! Last but not least the gratuity is ridiculous. 12.95 PER PERSON?? So if I order a drink 4 times during the whole cruise and eat in the main dining room 1 day out of the whole cruise we (husband and I) are charged the same gratuity as a couple that ate in the dining room 3 times a day every day and ordered 100 drinks over the course of the cruise...NOT right! They could offer a better cruise experience if they tried just a bit harder and listened to the people.

Cabin Review

Interior Upper/Lower

Cabin 1A

Our cabin and room keeper was perfect.

Port Reviews

Charleston

Absolutely Gorgeous!! Lots of interesting History here!

Nassau

Nassua is a dump, the towns people hound the heck out of you to take a taxi, take a carriage ride, buy this buy that and con you into free gifts then just want a "generous tip" if you are fortunate enough to afford the excursions to Atlantis or Paradise Island...Do It! Otherwise you are stuck putting your feet in the waters at Junkanoo Beach which is NOT a desirable place. Our adventure was Stressfull and NOT relaxing.

Freeport

Freeport is a swap meet kinda place if you cant afford to leave and go on any excursions which was our case and many others on the ship.
