My wife and I have cruised with Celebrity many times but this was our first time sailing on the Silhouette. It was a major disappointment comparing it to the other trips with Celebrity.

The food in the main dinning room was marginal at best and not once in the 15 that we ate in the main dinning room did our dinner arrive hot. the meals were warm at best. Portion sizes have been reduced to child size portions and if you return your dinner due to it being cold you wait only to receive another warn dinner. Do you enjoy a cup of coffee with your desert,so do I. Unfortunately not once did the coffee arrive with the dessert and a number of nights we left without ever having our coffee. I can only surmise that the cruise lines want you to book your dinners in the specialty restaurants since the staff were ever present trying to get us to book a table.

Activities on this ship were designed for non active or non mobile passengers. No basketball, volleyball or pool games. This was the first cruise I have ever taken that no band of any sort played around the pool during the day. As I said BORING.

Although this was a partially obstructed view the life boats were below our balcony and did not bother us at all.
