My husband and I are retired, frequent cruisers and were alone on this trip. This was our third NCL cruise and will look forward to the fourth. We like being at sea, we don't enjoy beaches or pools. Cabin size and having a balcony are important to us.
The good:
Extremely clean well maintained ship.
The cabin was spacious, very clean, very quiet and furniture, carpet etc. had been replaced in a recent dry dock. Our first aft cabin experience, the views were fantastic but the wake noise and at times propulsion noise, not so much. Though exhaust scrubbers were installed on the stacks we still had soot on our balcony.
Having a dining table and chairs was really nice. We wished the bed was smaller (Queen instead of King) and the oversized sleeper chair was at least the size of a loveseat.
Wow! This is a spectacular place. I don't like hanging out at the pool but I wished I had my swimsuit with me for this one. You dock and then walk or ride up a covered walkway to a small enclave of shops, restaurants, bars and an awesome pool, no tendering required. A must for the beach goer, once word gets out I'm sure people will book a cruise just to spend a day here.
