Embarkation: We had come from the UK and spent 4 days in NYC before flying down to MIA - We found the celebrity team easy to find however it was disappointing that they were only expecting 3 of us not 4 - They did however let all 4 of us onto the coach. After waiting 40 mins for a coach to take us we discovered we were the only ones on the transfer!! (Eco friendly?) - Once we got to the check in area we found passing security and the check in process easy. The Ship: The ship was cool! - Very well kept with staff cleaning it 24/7 - It has a range of decks with activities for people of all ages. The ship did seem very rocky but that was presumably a result of sailing in the Atlantic - We were with people who had done a med cruise on the same ship and they said it was much more stable. Dining: The dining onbord gives you three options with regards to dinner there is an option whereby you choose what time you go for the sit down meal at busy times you will be given a bleep which will go off when your table is ready. These work throughout the ship so taking refuge in a bar is possible. The other option is that you are given a time to eat which remains the same throughout finally if your not in the mood for a sit down then you can go to the buffet. The sit down meal is a 3 course meal with a verity of different foods. The buffet does try to change it up however we did at times find it to be the same. At lunch there is also a buffet which was all different kinds of breakfast meals including fresh omletts eggs etc. There is also a spa area which did healthy smoothies etc. For the late eaters there is pasta, pizza and salad until 1AM. Drink Packages: When we got onto the ship we were hounded to upgrade - My tip would be to wait a day - get to know the ship and know what bars etc have what beers. My partner upgraded only to then find out that the beer he wanted was not on board - They managed to find some however if your upgrading for a specific drink its worth checking before! Entertainment: We didn't go to any of the shows as they did not seem like something we would be interested in - We went to some of the trivia which was well run and fun. The ship only had 2 bands which seemed to often repeat songs which was disappointing. The ship also had a DJ who was good fun and we enjoyed listening to music around the pool. Service: The service was amazing! - The staff were friendly, approachable and truly went out of their way to help and make the trip go well! Ports: Due to the terrible hurricane that hit the islands we had a number of port changes in the run up to the cruise we found St Kitts to not offer much however other then this all the other ports were fantastic and good fun! - We did our own thing rather then the trips run by the ship and found there to be lots of local information once you get off the ship. Don't expect much info from celebrity as its not in their interest and they want you to go on their own organised trips Travel with children: We had a small baby with us - The staff were very attentive and friendly with him - No issues!! Fellow cruisers: We was disappointed, shocked and horrified at how rude a large number of the passengers were to staff. The ship was mainly full of Americans for this reason its unlikely I would go on another celebrity ship - It seemed to be a much older crowd who felt they were entitled to everything. Disembarkation went well - We found our bags and got off the ship quickly - The transfer to MIA did however involved sitting in a coach for an hour!!
