Carnival Liberty at Half Moon Cay

The Liberty is a fantastic ship with plenty to do.

A big surprise for me was the Versailles Pool. This pool is toward the stern of the ship and has a retractable roof, which was perfect since we had some rain and cold during our cruise. The newer Carnival ships do not have this feature (and I can't figure out why they would've dropped it), so this was a nice highlight. The pool was rarely crowded during our cruise and for adults only, something I didn't know existed in Carnival's line of ships. This adults only pool and two hot tubs, was in addition to the Serenity deck hot tubs, which were also fantastic.

We also loved the Seaside Theater, which showed pretty recent movies each night of our cruise. It was nice that they provided free popcorn at the Redfrog Rum Bar for the movies, it really livened it up.

Cabin 4E

No issues in the room during our cruise, except with the older safe that required a card to open (and at one point wouldn't open, which Carnival's staff was quick to help).

The room was a pretty standard inside room, but had the benefit of being in a great location, just two rooms down from the main stairs. It was quick to get to the atrium area and the lido deck.

We slept very well in this room, it was among the better rooms that I've stayed in overall. It might be an inside room, but it was pretty fantastic regardless; very much worth the price we paid.
