it was a weekend away in order to relax, being that I missed the Southbound, Venice to Durban this year. So I needed my fix, to have some good food and listen to some good music. The Sinfonia is like a home away from home for me. With now over 200 nights on board as a passenger I have some absolutely fantastic memories. All shared with family, friends, work colleagues, new friends made over the years. I have 2 more cruises booked this season. Need to go and look at the new "spot" Pomene, thats in February and then the Sinfonias farewell journey back to Venice in April. I love the longer trips. The 7 days at sea especially. Manage to get into a nice routine. Dinner with new found friends. Excellent conversation with people that can actually talk and have something interesting to offer. No cellphones ! I think I left it in the dressing table drawer in the cabin. No social media required here. Its naturally social.
