Saying that it did not feel like a cruise sounds a bit weird but it is the best way I can express my feelings. The ship is large, really large. While walking around the ship it felt as if I was at a very nice resort not sailing a cruise ship. We did have a balcony cabin with water view so that was my connection to feeling like I was on a ship.

The ship accomodated the large number of passengers very well, which impressed me. Rarely did I feel like I was in the midst of thousands of people. We were able to see all the shows, some a couple of times, without any problem to get seats. The dining room felt a little tight, but not too bad.

My biggest disappointment was with the pools. There were several pools, all small, ideally suited for children. The pools were very crowded and packed with small children. I went to the Solarium which was for adults. There were two nice sized hot tubs and a very, very small pool. The pool was so small it was like standing in a large tub. If it wasn't small enough, there was some shower like fountain in the middle of the tiny pool, whichmade it feel even smaller. No chance for swimming a stroke at all.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Nice with a few extra outlets than usual on the vanity. Adequate but smallish balcony. The storage space was adequate for a one week cruise. Good condition overall. Glass on balcony was filthy dirty and had a lot of built up salt spray so I could not look out if I was seated in the chair as opposed to standing at the rail.
