Selected cruise for the solo program and solo cabins and lounge. The cruise leader for this was super and the program enabled me to meet many great people. We all enjoyed ourselves as always someone to eat, party, sightsee with.

This was about my 8th NCL cruise (started in the 1970's) and had just completed a repositioning on the Getaway. Rate that cruise 5 due to well run ship and programs.

The Epic was extremely noisy due to constant amplification of sound in the Atrium and in all of the lounges. With every cabin occupied the ship was overcrowded and difficult to get reservations for shows and specialty dinning. No decent lectures or activities for those who did not go ashore on port days. Things like Trivia and Dance lessons were held on the services deck in the Atrium discouraging many from attending due to the lack of privacy and noise. Absolutely no place to quietly read or talk. Thank goodness for the solo lounge which was a sanctuary for many of us offering a place to meet and a selections of coffees, drinks, light snacks.

Cabin Review

Studio

Cabin T1

Tiny studio well designed and had every convenience necessary. It is worth the price as it offers singles privacy. Especially good if you only use cabin for sleeping and changing clothes.
