The entertainment at night was uniformly good. The resident cast did 3 different shows with wonderful costuming and singing. There was a comedian and Jane Curry (look her up; she's amazing to see (exclusively on Celebrity cruises).

Food - Dining room. Service as good generally but sometimes a little slow. My wife has for allergies and she was treated very well. Most of the food was well prepared and tasty although there were a few mistakes - some food overcooked and some under but that was an exception. I particularly liked the ice cream desert; the chef captured the flavors - chocolate, banana rum - perfectly without overwhelming sweetness. The entrees were quite varied. There were 5 choices of appetizer and 5 entree choices each night plus regular items you could elect instead (caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, steak, salmon, etc.)

Food -Oceanview cafe. This was the buffet style, open seating area with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Best design I've seen with kiosks of food choices and not just linear bars. You never felt you were on a ship of 3000, just maybe 200. The food was generally good and there was a variety for American, Mexican, Asian, British, and Indian tastes.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1B

Cabin 1B

Cabin is basically the same for all verandahs. Ours was configured with the bed next to the balcony doors (there are others with the bed by the closet. Bathroom is a good size with a sort of semi circular shower. Lots of storage space in the bathroom but little counter space.

Our sink faucet seemed to put out only warm and hot water, near quite cold.

Cabin closet has ample hanging spacebar very small shelves above. The "dresser" has tiny drawers not large enough for any clothes. The only space large enough for clothes are cabinets above the headboard of the bed. Plenty of room under the bed for empty luggage.

Room has a couch and a a desk with chair. All the electric outlets fro the room are next to the desk. There is a TV with 22 channels - 2 EPSN, 4-5 news, TNT and one other entertainment, and the rest ship based.

The bed was comfortable however we prefer more firm mattresses. The cabin steward was great.
