We decided to take a cruise in the last minute and the MSC Armonia was the only one available. As soon as we entered our room there was a leaflet stating that the times of the disembarkation and embarkation in the visiting ports were changed. For instance : Valleta which should be the highlight of this cruise was from 3 PM to 7 PM. All the attractions were closed and all the people returned to the ship at the same hour. We waited over an hour to get in while everybody was pushing and shouting. Another place was Napoli: we arrived at 7 AM and left at 12 noon. What place of interest or shoping are opening before 10 AM ???

Our friend set at a table for breakfast and waited for us. the staff came and shouted at him that he must get up and wait for us outside the restaurant !

The Theatre entertaiment was very poor and very short.

Inside Stateroom

The shower was terrible. It was dirty and except for soap and shampoo we got nothing.

Port Reviews

Malta (Valletta)

Unfortunately the cruise arrived at 3 pm to the port and until we arrived to the old town everything was closed.

The town is very beautiful and there are atractions that we couldn't enter because they closing at 4 PM

Taormina (Messina)

nearly nothing to do in Messina. The main attracion is the Cathedral were at noon different pupets show up describing the history of Mssina.

We went to the local museum and we were the only visitors ther! But they have 3 wonderful Carravagio ...!

Genoa

this is one of the most beautiful towns I visited so far.The Garibaldi streat with the impressive houses, the Cathedral, Colombus' house.....
