I wanted a nice family cruise, but this was a completely unexpected negative experience for a Royal Caribbean cruise. Enchantment of the seas needs a total refurb and a serious paint job. Lots of visible rust and caulking repairs. There was several paint colors worn though in the pool plus rust. Who is maintains this ship? Food quality was mediocre and the coffee in the windjammer sent me to the Starbucks onboard to buy a decent cup. The kids tried the kids club but only could play a silent game of catch??? Guess the wii systems we were shown on day one were broken.

The constant toilet overflows in the cabin over the duration of the cruise was the icing on the cake. During the cruise I saw that there were toilet problems in bathrooms across the ship. Guest service only offered a small token credit for the disgusting experience of having the cabin toilet overflow almost daily onto the bathroom floor and having to wait for maintenance come to fix it, then cabin service to sanitize the floor. This was a bad cruise for me and my family. Never again.

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin FO

Cabin in need of refurbishment. Lots of caulking repairs. Outside window was never cleaned so it was hard to see past the salt crust. Toilets overflowed 3 days of the 4 night cruise and 1 day the shower overflowed, so it was pretty disgusting to think about it. Cabin service was great but she had to keep up with sanitizing after each overflow. Not a fun time for the family. Kids were concerned by the constantly broken toilet and overflowing water.
