Norwegian Star needs and overhaul both physically and managerial. The ship definitely needs updating, it seems stuck in years past. With a few exceptions the staff seems to be going thru the motions of working on a cruise ship. It reminds me of 'ho hum another day at work, when do I get off.' The buffet on deck 12 also reminds me of going to the government handout in communities. Or maybe a buffet at Walmart. And I do not want to put down Walmart. The entertainment was mediocre at best. Whatever company they secured the cruise director they need to get a refund. I was on a transatlantic on the Getaway where the cruise director knows how to secure a good lineup of entertainment that has most of the ship engaged. Also whose policy is it that allows passengers to take a yapping dog on the ship and have the that pass as a service dog. My neighbor trains dogs for service animals, they go thru a lot of training both to the aide of the user and their behavior in crowded environments. This dog was neither. Norwegian needs to address their requirements for service animals.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Average cabin but poor design of toilet area. I am average size, if I were larger I do not think I could enter into the toilet area. Entrance very narrow and toilet too close to wall in front of toilet.
