SO I have been a long time cruiser for over 30 years. My wife and I book this cruise for a quick getaway. Four nights to Cozumel from Ft Lauderdale. Boarding quick and easy, just have your paperwork done. Less then 5 minutes we were on Board. The ship being older but RCCL says it just came out of dry dock. I m not sure what was done but there are signs of wear and tear. Hot tub did not work the entire cruise.Dis appointing as I like to use it in the mornings. Our room was the biggest let down,we were on deck 7 balcony. Open the door and what do you see is a roof from deck 6,which covers the rescue boats. When you sit on the balcony you see a roof and the handrail. Looking down did not exist. We asked for a room change and was given the runaround by the member services. Not pleased with them at all.Our room was very clean (Danny) did a great job. Food is adequate ,serving portion are good. Nice variety on the menus. We did eat at Giovanni's , great service, very good Italian food. Entertainment was just so-so a juggler was good but I found it to be a bit boring for a headliner. Dancers were in need of rehearsal ( new crew is what I heard). The casino was poor, couple of tables, oldest slot machines I have ever seen. SMOKE, and dealers did many errors on the roulette tables. On a scale from one to ten...about a 6.5 is about right. Would I go again? Maybe. But not on deck 7 !
