We were not used to a smaller ship or shorter cruise. All in all it was good.

we have been on a number of cruises and different cruise lines. always considered Royal a cut above many others. this ship was old and kind of run down. wait staff and cabin attendants were outstanding as usual. sorry one of the ports had to be cancelled as we love beaches and were looking forward to that part of the trip. smoke in the casino was pretty rough. the sing and dance performers were sub standard from what we have seen on other ships. the elevators were a pain in the butt-always in the wrong place and having to take 2 elevators and walk across the entire ship to get to the restaurants or casino or entertainment. seems there is too much emphasis on selling souveniers and junk and not enough on making the cruise more interesting or entertaining. buffet was ok but they seemed to run out of a lot of things quickly. A good bit of the food was not hot.
