Our first experience with NCL was less than perfect and we were not sure if we should try it again. My sister was on the Dawn in March 2009 and said that we would "love it".

Weather: The sail out of NY was quite comfortable for November and the sunset was fabulous! The next 14 days were mostly calm seas and sunshine, with some beautiful white fluffy clouds just to add interest to photos.

The Ship: It is large and the layout a bit unique. The Dawn has been kept up well and staff are always shining her up. Really wish there was an Aft bar as that usually is a favorite place for us to relax.

The closet is just plain lousy. The shelves are sideways into the end of the closest so it is so hard to see your clothes and even harder to put them away. We just got frustrated and threw them onto whatever shelf we could reach!
