The repositioning cruise in early November had mostly adult couples over 40, and they were a friendly, fun loving, active group. Mid-day dance lessons and trivia contests in the Atrium were well attended. The fitness facility was very busy most daylight hours on sea days.
Except for NCL morning fitness classes (typically $20 and quite good), the Spa staff forbids any form of collective work-outs in the fitness center and (as far as I know) on any other part of the ship. If you have any inclination to group up for zumba, line dances, or similar physical activity requiring a space or fitness studio; be sure to specifically arrange with NCL in advance.
NCL still allows smoking in the Casino on Deck 6, at the rear outdoor theatre, and on half the pool deck. Note that several restaurants are located near or in the Casino. These polluted areas certainly diminish the enjoyment of non-smokers, but avoiding them can be managed by planning your onboard walking routes.
Curvey decor had lots of little spaces, drawers, and room under the beds that made it liveable. Shower and toilet plan proved quite functional. Attentive, but not intrusive, cabin attendant let us use the room the way we wanted.
