Due to the deal we were able to obtain with AA and their last minute booking we purchased the trip. FYI this was our first ocean cruise, previously we have only done river cruises with Grand Circle Travel in Europe and China. Nothing when wrong on this vacation, from parking car to boarding ship, to getting off ship and doing customs and finally catching a shuttle back to Galveston Port parking Lot B. The food was outstanding and the entertainment was a nice mix of shows. Cabin was clean and maintained at 5 star level. We booked an interior cabin and it was perfect for us. Loading dock had easy highway access from and back to I-45 for our drive home to Dallas. We will do it again within one year. We did no research for the ports ahead of time. My wife was only interested in shopping in duty free shops. We had not planned nor did we participate in any of the shore excursions. If you eat in the dining room ask for table 712 and hopefully Elvis (Edgar) will be your head server and he will not miss a trick for making it a pleasant dining experience.
