The guest performers were all British and did not rise to the level of American performers. The production shows were good but not exceptional. The food was good but nothing exceptional. The Lawn Grill restaurant did in fact provide for an outstanding experiece. All the employees were friendly and smiled at the guests which is what one would expect. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly.

This ship is suppose to be an upgrade in the Royal Caribbean family, but seems to lack the premium tag. Our veranda stateroom was adequate although it seemed a little tight. The Sky Suites were very spacious. The inside cabins were also spacious. It seemed that the children on board were well taken care of by the staff devoted to them. The activities staff were excellent even though there were only 2 hosts on board. They, with the activities manager, worked extremely long hours and provided many and varied activities for those so inclined to participate.

This was the 3rd voyage on this ship and I would do it again if the itinerary was compelling.

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

The free shuttle from the pier to the city entrance of Civitavecchia proved to be very worthwhile. The town provided for an entertaining few hours of shopping and sightseeing. A great way to spend the time after the embarkation process.
