We looked forward to a smaller ship short cruise. Our cruise fit that bill to a tee. While we sailed full, it didn’t seem crowded at all. It took us some time to acquaint ourselves with the ship as we have been sailing on Freedom and Mariner class ships. We missed the Promanade Deck and the Cafe Promanade. The Captain was accessible and really cared about the guests, he even performed as a backup singer for the cruise director. Great show.We had access to the Diamond Lounge and the Concierge Lounge. Both were very comfortable and well staffed. Michael Grimm, a winner of America’s Got Talent was a headliner on the cruise - he was awesome. One formal night that was far from being a formal ocassion. We only made one port of call, Cozumel. Weather was good except for the last sea day and we had high winds and rough seas. Got back to Galveston safe and sound. We would do it again if timing was right.
