This was our second time on this particular ship. We chose it because we were familiar with the ship and the itinerary, but most of all, All Inclusive, Freestyle cruising! Although the ship has many years in service and it is not the largest, we had a blast.
We are a 40's couple with two adult sons in their 20's. Our previous trip was good, but this particular time was great! Drinks were delicious and the entertainment was top-notch. We had our own room (STATEROOM: IC 9339) but on the same deck as our sons. The room was acceptable for two and for first time cruisers, but if I go again it will defintely be a balcony or suite. We ate at some of the restaurants and was not disappointed.
I think part of the reason that we had so much fun was watching our sons hang out with all of the other cruisers and the on-ship entertainers. Every where we went people would say, "Hey! There's the "those" guys." They made a lot of friends from various states and countries. The Whiteout dance party was great and then the afterparty was even better. I was bummed that everything closed up around 3am. I could have gone on for several more hours.
Small but appropriate for two adults. Will definitely upgrade the next time I cruise this ship.
The NCL and Port staff worked quickly to get us on the ship early (around Noon).
A decent size of vendors and shops to choose from.
At the time we decided to go to Cable Beach, we did not realize that we would be next to Atlantis. We decided to go to the resort from the backside and had lunch and drinks, and we were able to go to many of the areas of the resort without having to pay--what I believe--an outrageous price for an excursion. We are experienced travelers and was able to guide ourselves through the massive resort.
