i booked this cruise in February as the cruise ports were exactly what i had been looking for. the cruise was rerouted due to hurricanes. i fully understand and sympathize with the people who's lives and homes were devastated. we didn't go to one single port that was booked, although many other cruise ships only changed one or two ports. we were not allowed to cancel the cruise or offered any compensation (its like i booked a holiday to Italy and 8 months later told being told sorry were sending you to Greece instead and you have no choice)

the cruise itself was a new itinerary with a lot of new staff which was noticed on the 1st few days but they got there by the end on the week.

we arrived at the port at the designated boarding time 10.30am, all was good quick check in, no long Que etc, we went up the stairs and were asked to wait in the lounge with approx 1000 others, we waited for 1.5hrs, boarding didn't start till 11.45am and boarding was staggard (would have stayed at the hotel for the day had we known - wasted morning - why ask you to book in at 10.30 when you not allowed on ship).

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

cabin bed was good size and comfy, shower room and toilet good, soaps shampoos provided, sitting area small - nowhere to put every day items two seater sofa (normally three setter on balconies on other cruise lines - space a little cramped.

the view from the cabin whilst in port was open sea - for this cruise if you have a choice choose port side cabins for a better view (at ports we only saw sea)

Port Reviews

Falmouth

took a taxi to beach as recommended by port, very expensive $20 taxi each, entry to beach $10 each, sunbeds drinks expensive, beach was nice sea area small. massages were cheap $50 for two 30 min massages.

prob best doing a tour we went to dunns falls and tubing in february so had done what we wanted on previous cruise. if we go back falmouth it wont be by choice (we would stay on ship)
