Had enjoyed previous cruise on RC, so we went back to that line this trip. This trip, the ship was crowded and loud all the time. Loud music played constantly on the main outside deck (11), hard to find any peace and quiet on deck. Reminded us of a Carnival party cruise. RC seems to have added smoking areas on the ship, and don't enforce their no smoking policies in other areas on deck.

Staff and crew on the ship were great, very friendly and attentive. Dinner in Chops Grille was excellent. Dinner in the main dinning rooms was good to very good. The ports on this trip were also very nice and the cruise had sufficient time in each of them.

On disembarking back in San Juan, both of our pieces of luggage were initially lost. One bag was found after an hour search with the bag tag torn. Obviously, a crew member had tried to lift the bag by the tag, and the numbered section ripped off. The other bag was grabbed by a pier porter and transported with someone else's luggage to the airport. According to the staff at the pier this happens with some regularity.........

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Good bed, good shower and a nice balcony. Sufficient room for 2 people. What more do you need from a stateroom?

Curacao
