We chose this cruise based on the a special group rate that was advertised locally that included flight and bus transportation to airport, hotel in Rome, and fromtmfrom hotel to port and then bus to our home area in Florida. We have cruised Celebrity a few times before, but we have a higher cruising record with Princess.
We went with another couple that we traveled with before. One couple we met came back to their room on the 3rd floor to find water from a busted pipe that flooded their room and part of the hallway to a group of rooms. There were some empty rooms and they got upgraded to an outside room. One night we came back to our room and found no water in faucet or toilet. I called guest relations and they said the entire ship was without water. It took several hours for the water to come back and when the faucet was opened the water came out with dirt. The water eventually ran clear. However, not one person of authority from the ship ever acknowledged the situation and cause. We didn't know if water was safe to drink.
It all worked out in the end.

Cabin was fine. Obstructed view was looking over the life boats which were one floor below.
We did have a minor problem in that the fire nozzle that sprays water in case of fire dripped a few drops of water on the bed. I called guest relations and they sent a plumber who said he would come back later with his supervisor and look into it as it was not leaking while he was there. He said they would have the cabin attendant change the sheets and cover after they finished. When we returned, there was a message on our phone saying they took care of the problem and to call back if any further problem. Later that night they sent a bottle of wine with a note apologizing for being inconvenienced. Nice gesture.
