We took Navigator of the Seas in May, 2016 from Ft. Lauderdale to Southampton . We had smooth sailing all the way so booked the cruise from Southampton to Miami for Nov., 2017. Although we had a great time, it wasn't smooth sailing as the seas made up for what we didn't experience the first time. It was all good though as we met several very nice people from Scotland, Wales and England. I enjoyed the morning exercise class with Jenn as well as talking to Lynn and Too (she said "not one, not three but two). Sorry but I don't know correct spelling. Both ladies were fun to chat with before and after class. G who taught the line dance class was funny and patient. We had excellent service in the MDR from Elvis and Austin and our room attendant, Leo, did a great job with our cabin. We couldn't have asked for better service this cruise.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin I

The cabin was a nice size. We were pleased with the room and the storage. Had two windows to look out of and watch the waves of the water. However if you have a tendency to easily get sick or have a queasy stomach, this may not be a cabin for you especially if the sea is rocky as it was this cruise. I slept like a baby being rocked. My husband teased me each morning about hitting the bottle as I walked from side to side down the hall. He said he would have an excuse with a glass in each hand. We laughed and joked about it. Said the captain hit a chuck hole when a wave slammed against the ship. We saw the spray of the waves outside our window at times. I don't think we will go with a front cabin again but glad we had the experience and the laughs.

Port Reviews

Southampton

We stayed in Southampton for 5 days before the cruise. We visited the SeaCity Museum, the Tudor House and saw the wall that separated the city at one time. Enjoyed strolling through West Quay as well.
