Sail Date: Nov 2017
Cabin: Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony
Traveled with children

We chose to sail on Anthem of the Seas because the dates were working for us and the itinerary looked interesting. We usually vacation in November around Remembrance Day (Veterans Day) because in most cases it's considered shoulder season and there are fewer people vacationing at that time. Boy, were we wrong!

The Good:

The ship is very nice, it looks relatively new, but is starting to show its age in a few places. There are some good activities including a kids/teens club, rollerskating, bumper cars, sky-diving simulator, escape room, etc. And of course the main buffet is huge.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Cabin V4

The cabin was what you'd expect, nothing fancy. There was however a large TV that showed the view from the front of the ship. That made staying in an interior cabin more bearable. We also had a connecting door to the cabin next door where our kids stayed. The connecting door is very useful if you're travelling with a family.

The cabin was on the 8th floor in the front/starboard quadrant of the ship. Most of the theaters were near the front of the ship and the restaurants near the back of the ship. The pool deck was on the 14th floor, and the main buffet restaurant was too.
