Went on the Fantasy because of going with friends: I did not expect much going in and that was exactly what I found. The cabin (ocean view, deck 6 mid-ship) was adequate for two adults, but old looking. Our cabinsteward, Trista, was the highlight of this cruise! He was awesome and worked very hard to make us happy.. I did not attend any of the evening shows as the lines were way to long to stand in. The trivia games were entertaining but need to be in another location. In front of the Bistro there is always foot traffic and talking which made it hard to hear. The art auctions were great as were the Park West staff. Now onto the food. Two words - not good. Lido buffet food was usually warm to cool, never hot. Had to wait for servers to serve many times. Desserts were mostly tasteless. Celebrations dining room - the service was very good. The food was warm to cold with few exceptions. I ordered steak from the steakhouse menu and it was burned and dry, the lobster tail was also over cooked and tough. Our shipmates agreed with me about the food. We did no ship excursions. The music is to loud almost everywhere on board ship. I might try another Carnival ship but never again will I sail on this one.
