While this cruise has some positive points the overall negative points stand in my mind and won't allow me to recommend it to any others. Too much up selling from the minute you get on the ship: Central Park is nice, but only one very small complimentary restaurant. The others that line the park are all specialty restaurants. More than half of the daily events have a charge for them. If they don't they are offering "free clinics" on how to improve your weight, health, gait, etc. You can be sure there is a product for them to sell at the end of the "free clinic". No personal toiletry items in the shower. I didn't bring body lotion or hair conditioner because it's a staple on cruise ships. Not this one. They have streamlined all the goodies that are free. No flower arrangements in the dinning room, no bud vases on the tables, not even a chocolate on the pillows at night. It seems that they have taken away all the frills that might make you feel special and have replaced them with "an option to purchase" that pampering that the cruise usually offers.

The food in the Windjammer was not very good. Quality and temperature of the food was poor. Lots of fatty pieces of beef, greasy hamburgers, cold fires. Repetitive menu - So, if you found something you liked, you can be sure it would be there again for the next six days/nights.

Food in the dinning room (My Time) was better than the Windjammer, but I would not rate it better than "average". Desserts were not really worth the calories. The positive about the negatives regarding the food is that you won't gain weight on this cruise.

Plenty of drawers/closet space for two adults. Closet doors were not very functional, thought. Really can't slide them over very far. Typical bathroom with shower. Nothing but those small bars of hand soap and one pump container in the shower, which I thought was body wash. However, someone else I met, told me it was shampoo LOL No body lotion or hair conditioner.

I liked the location of the room. Not too close/too far from the elevator. Two flights up to pool area, and three flights up for the awful food in the Windjammer. Easy walk down to the American Icon My Time dinning.
