This is a very well maintained ship with extra friendly staff. Even the security guard was friendly when he asked me and my wife to leave the front of the ship due to 70 MPH winds, and promptly closed the gate behind us. We were on the 6th floor in a balcony suite. The safe was not working properly and we called maintenance and the maintenance man was there in 20 minutes and it took him just 5 minutes to fix it. The other maintenance issue was the seas were rough so the sliding glass door was making a lot of noise. Maintenance was able to fix the sliding glass door going to the outdoor balcony almost immediately.

The reason I'm only giving a 3 star review is there are things that can be improved. My #1 complaint is Smoking. Why would a ship cater to 15% of the population that smokes? There is smoking allowed in the Casino and some of the bars. We were not able to go to the Casino or some of the Night Clubs on board due to smoking.

The other problem we ran into is we would get our photo taken and the photographer would not get our room number which means you would not be able to find your photo. The other problem we ran into is we were told we could get our photos Sunday morning at 7:00 AM before we left the ship. When we got to the photo place we were told we no longer had access to our photos and they were gone forever. For a cruise line this is definitely a loss for them.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Excellent cabin. Excellent view. Need more outlets especially near the bed. This cabin is far enough away from the elevators that you are not burdened with excessively noisy guests. This cabin is 12 cabins away from an elevator making it an especially quiet cabin.
