we cruised Elation last year pre-dry dock and were very excited about the new perks. The good:

Love Guys Burgers and the waterworks. I'm 67 and loved going down the slide! The food is generally good, desserts somewhat lacking. Had no problem finding seats. Love Tiffany stained glass decor and aft outside seating. Entertainment good. We are early to bed so cannot comment on late evening entertainment. Kevin is a riot - great cruise director. Our cabin steward was very good - no issues.

the bad: our interior room shrunk considerably: where is the sofa, seat and shelves for storage? fewer drawers too and the mirror is much smaller. Bed is still comfy.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4D

no noise issues, bed comfortable. smaller than before dry dock. adequate for 2.bathroom clean and roomy. used to have sofa and table and more shelves, drawers.

Port Reviews

Jacksonville

We parked at lot across the street and everything went smoothly going onboard. Not so leaving. They need to get disembarking straightened out or they will lose folks.

Half Moon Cay

the highlight of the cruise. Tropical paradise. Great picnic lunch. great swimming and peaceful. Carnival should organize a 5 day, 2-nite stay just at half moon cay.

Nassau

not a great stop. The Queen 's staircase is interesting but seen it before. The beaches are generally littered and need cleaning.
