Destinations on offer were varied and interesting. We felt safe passing through the bottom of the Red Sea and into the Gulf of Aden because of the extra security measures put in place. The captain kept everyone up to date. We were on board for Halloween and Remembrance Day and the crew put a huge effort into marking these occasions for those who were interested. There were many Australians on board and it would have been good for us to have had Melbourne Cup Day recognised. It is always the first Tuesday in November. A few of us got dressed up as is appropriate for this event and met in the Living Room and had a few champagnes (as is indeed appropriate for Melbourne Cup Day).

We enjoyed sailing with Azamara last year for the first time and booked back to back cruises for 2017. We would recommend Azamara highly.
