3 couples chose this cruise as an Autumn getaway-3 nights in Barcelona booked separately and then 9 nights cruising back to Blighty. Initially the political situation worried us but our 4 days in the city were trouble free and most enjoyable. 6 of us squeezed into a taxi for the journey to the port Saturday morning. Embarkation wasn't the quickest but we were on board for lunch and cabins were ready at 1pm. Nice bottle of fizz in the cabin.

We were on second sitting (not our choice) but my wife charmed the most helpful maitre d and we got on first sitting-table for 6 by the window. Food and service excellent with our table staff willing to go the extra mile to get dishes for you that weren't on the menu. Thank you Alvis & Troy.

First sitting too early and second too late. Freedom dining is our preferred choice. Perhaps one day Cunard??? As always Cunard wines are totally overpriced which seems to be reflected in the number of bottled on tables compared with other cruise lines.
