I have been with Princess before and was very impressed. However this time not so impressed. The issues started when I booked direct. I booked some excursions soon after booking and accidentially used the wrong card; however when I tried to cancel and pay with the different card it wouldn't let me. I rung customer services to get them to do this but they said they couldn't, because the refund would take 10 working days and if I tried to book the excursions before that date it would use that money. So I left it as it was. I also booked the internet package but decided I didn't need as many minutes as I booked; figuring it would work the same way as before I cancelled and tried to purchase the lesser minutes (it wanted me to pay for the minutes again but the money I had paid for the other minutes had disappeared). I rung customer service again and they told me the minutes were purchased in a different way to the excursions and I would have to wait 10 working days. during the conversation I asked a few questions about things I had purchased:

1. what we got with the crown grill meal we had booked; the women said it will fill you (not really the answer I required). I queried why it didn't make it clear on the internet when I booked it.

2. why when I cancelled something did Princess not send an email confirming the cancellation and the refund (no answer again). I paid for onboard credit but it did not show on my booking and queried what I got £75 or would it be connverted into dollars and if so how much would it be worth and why did it not show on my account.
