It left from fort lauderdale to southern caribbean and we thought holland might hearken back to glamorous days of cruising past. Big mistake. Average age must be 70 to 80. Shipboard service was 5 stars. Food in main dining room was a major disappointment. One example for dinner: yankee pot roast. We ate at the specialty restaurants a few times. Lots of food on board is extra or a la carte in their many other food venues. Entertainment was lame and limited so little to do on board. Cabin: all electrical outlets went out 4 times, usually at night. Choice of movies very limited unless you want to pay up. We wanted to cancel the cruise due to harvey and irma hurricanes week after we booked. . when you book you can only cancel on that day; otherwise no refunds for any reasons. Shore excursions are very expensive; but if you d islands on your own, there's little to do and all of them are a ghetto once you get off the docks and into town.
Ship itself has a major design flaw; the stern of the vessel rides about a foot above water so the ship bounced around like crazy on more than one occasion, getting jolted awake at night from it.
"Suite" because it has a tiny loveseat next to bed. All Electrical Outlets went out 4 times, usually at night. Hook fell of wall that holds robes. Safe failed and locked itself as spring broke inside it. Short bed. If you're over 5'9" your feet will hang over the end of it.
