TRIP: The overall trip was amazing and the ship was the perfect floating hotel. SHIP: The ship overall was in great shape, clean and well maintained. STATEROOM: The stateroom (8134-Concierge Class) was also very clean and well maintained by an excellent cabin steward.. The only disappointing things were the Concierge Mattresses were years overdue for replacement and the cabin air conditioning was weak as the room never got cold even after a maintenance visit. SERVICE, STAFF & CREW: Staff was very friendly, attentive and wanting to make sure your stay was a positive experience. FOOD: The Main Dining Room had great service however it was a very generic menu (looked like a universal menu for all Celebrity Ships) The chef specials and lobster night were the best meals. We only did about 4 dinners in the Main Dinning Room. We spent most of our time in the Oceanview Cafe (Buffet) which had a wide variety of options with lots of opportunity to try some more regional dishes which is what I expected would have been in the Main Dining Room. Very high quality selections on the buffet. ENTERTAINMENT & ACTIVITIES: Most were enjoyable with the night that featured the Russian Gymnasts and the Russian Violinists. PORTS of CALL & SHORE EXCURSIONS: Embarkation: Hong Kong: Kai Tak Terminal looks beautiful however the only transportation to it is by taxi or bus making it difficult to use it a base to explore Hong Kong. It is also very long and requires a lot of unnecessary facility walking (I am guessing around two to three football fields) to get to the ship. The check in was by a third party company (very young kids) that could not answer any Celebrity questions nor enter your account check in correctly which required us to make a couple of additional trips to the ship's Guest Relations to straighten out. DISEMBARKATION: Singapore Marina Bay Cruise Centre was a ship walk off and was extremely smooth! (The airport in Singapore-Terminal 4 is new and really an amazing place) BEST PORTS of CALL: Hue, Vietnam (Fishing Village Tour-On Your Own) and Bangkok, Thailand (Overnight on Your Own- with the Nighttime Tuk-Tuk Tour). Wish we had spent less time in Vietnam and an extra day in Bangkok, so much more to see! I would absolutely recommend this trip for those looking for some adventure!
