We really had a great time on this cruise. We choose this cruise because we wanted to visit Cuba. The only reason why I rated this 4/5 is because all of the extra expenses were ridiculous. You have to pay additional money for soda, alcoholic beverages, internet, special steak house, etc.... By the time you pay all of these additional fees and pay the mandatory gratuity fees, you might as well fly directly into your destination and stay in a suite rather than cruising. The food was great and the service was awesome. But all of the extra fees was a huge turnoff off to my family. We have cruised before in the past yes, but it seems like there are even more additional charges. I really life paying one fee and everything is all inclusive. At the end of our cruise their was a fee of $129 each for the 3 people in my room. This includes the mandatory $75 Cuba visa fee and then daily gratuity.

Cuba was an AMAZING experience! This was the best part of the trip for us..... the other port Key West was really boring. We went on this overpriced tour on a shuttle around Key West ($86 for 2 people). This fee also included entry to Ernest Hemingway's house.... what a snooze! There were cats running all over the place 57 to be exact.

We did not take a tour in Cuba through Royal Caribbean. In fact, since we did not enjoy the tour in Key West.... we planned to just walk around in Cuba ourselves. But about 30 minutes after our arrival we met a man who was offering tours in a classic car for 40 cucs for 3 people which is about $40 in US dollars. This tour was well worth every penny. The tour was supposed to be for 1 hour but it was 1 hr and 40 minutes. Our guides name was Frederick and he took us to purchase real authentic cigars- 25 for 70 cucs. Everywhere else was selling for about 100 cucs.

Cabin Review

Cabin Stateroom

Clean but a little tight. Big enough for my husband and 9 year old daughter who was excited about the bunk bed. Great storage space.
