Started great with embarkation. That was smooth sailing. On the ship in about 30 minutes from start to finish. That was about where the organization ended. Lots of blue cards and family reunions on this cruise, couples get lost in the shuffle. Staff needs more customer service training, especially the spa staff. Pre booked a couples massage for morning we were in port, when arrived for appointment we were told our appointment had been scheduled due to a staff drill. Would have been nice to know this when we first embarked so that we could head to the spa to get a new appointment time. By the time we were there, all they would offer us was night appointments. Wow eventually just got a refund but it required going to customer service to get it. Food has lots of room for improvement. Debarkation was the most unorganized that I have experienced in 12 cruises. We usually love Carnival cruises but found this one extremely lacking. The one saving grace was the nice balcony room. Spent most of the cruise just hanging out on the balcony. Even that got ruined at times, though, between people playing music loudly on their balconies, smoking, or feeding the birds when in port. This will probably be the last time we do a 3 day cruise with Carnival. We might do longer cruises with them, but that is it.
