We are an active senior citizen couple who enjoy cruising. This was our second cruise with Norwegian .After a 6 night stay in Rome we took the train to Civitavechia. We got there around 1:00, boarding went very smoothly. The room was ready for us and our bags were brought in around 3:00. We went to Raffles and enjoyed a nice lunch. The lifeboat drill was long and boring but we were used to that. The inside cabin was very small (11037) but nicely laid out with a nice closet. We had a problem with a foul odor in the bathroom, It smelled of sewage all the time but some days were worse than others. We had a perscription problem and needed to go to the ship's clinic on our first morning. The medical staff were wonderful to us and helped us straighten everything out in less than half an hour. We enjoyed nice breakfasts and dinners in the main dining rooms almost every day. We did not go to the big shows but we really enjoyed the smaller ones. The violinist and the aerialists were spectacular, the soprano and the Beatles tribute band were very good too. The ship's band was great. We only went on one excursion, "Scenic Malta". This tour was a big disappointment! The guide did not want to be there, the coach itself was miserably uncomfortable, we jammed in one on top of the other and there was no legroom. We were looking forward to seeing Medina but all they did was slow the bus down so we could look at the wall around it. The bus made stops for us to get out and take pictures at a marina, at another marina where there was also venders in kiosks and toilets, and a short photo stop at the Blue Grotto and the Dingly Cliffs. The ship's staff was absolutely wonderful our cabin steward was wonderful and the restaurant staff were very good too. Our reason for selecting this cruise was the ports and we loved them all especially Santorini, Athens and Rhodes.

Great Cruise overall
