We chose this tour because of the price and the ports. We got much more. This is an elegant ship with beautiful Art Deco design and serious, professional service. The theater is best best of any cruise ship that we have been on and we've cruised on seven different cruise lines. (Sadly, the entertainment in this theater wasn't quite as stellar). There were so many activities on sea days that it was hard to chose. Our balcony cabin was nothing special but it was comfortable. There was plenty of storage and room in the closets. It was very clean. The cabin stewards work very hard and do a great job. The same was true of all the restaurant and bar staff. Our server for dinner was efficient and caring. We took several shore excursions because they were reasonably priced and went interesting places. This department was run like clockwork but some local guides were better than others. A down side of the Cunard experience might be the degree of formality on board. The dress code is very strict, On a ten day cruise we had three formal nights and on "casual" nights, the rest of the dinners, a sport coat was required. Restaurant dinners are early or late fixed seating only. We have grown to like anytime dining because we get to know more people that way.
We would definitely sail with Cunard, again, and would highly recommend it to others.
