From past experience with Silversea and this was a new itinerary for us. Positives were the usual Silversea attention and courtesy. Food not quite as good as in previous cruises. On shore excursions disappointing excessively lengthy. Morning excursions sometimes returned to ship too late for lunch except on the pool deck where it was sometimes too cold to ne outside. However deck service was excellent as was service at other restaurants. Transfer from disembarkation to airport in Fiumicino left us with over four hours to wait for flight. Bus dropped us up at far end of terminal three and we had a long walk with luggage back to terminal one, when the driver could have dropped us off at terminal one which we drove right by. We had very long walk to the gate. Airport staff refused to help us. Silversea should tell passengers that there could be a long walk to gate and offer to provide transportation. Breakfast was always prepared too early with the result it was either cold or the butler had to wake us up too early.
