AMA was recommended by my travel agent as one of the nicest river cruise lines to sail with. We were not disappointed. From the moment we stepped onto the ship until our last goodbye, we were treated like favorite family members. Kudos to AMA for creating a pleasant, comfortable, and relaxing experience for it's guests.

The staff were exceptionally well trained and any request was accomodated. There were food choices for all palates and the preparation of local foods was superb. Because of the intimate dining space were able to fraternize with other diners, yet still have privacy. We were encouraged to linger over our meals and the servers were very knowledgable about wine pairings. The after-dinner entertainment was thoughtfully chosen to appeal to our "mature" taste.

The excursions were tailored for all activity levels and the guides were extremely well versed in local history and legend, honestly the best we have had as travelers so far. All things considered, I would definitely sail AMA Waterways again!
