We chose this cruise because some friends we going, and we thought it would be fun to join them. I was especially excited because we were to stop at Key West, and I wanted to see Ernest Hemingway's home. Unfortunately, Hurricane Irma wasn't cooperative. The cruise line canceled our stop there right after she hit. I think they were a bit premature as the very next Celebrity cruise ended up stopping at Key West! That made me feel even worse! We didn't make it into Grand Cayman because the seas were too rough, and the tender couldn't reach the island. Thus another day at sea. Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao are fabulous islands for people who are involved in water sports or who like to sit on the beach, but they didn't have the greatest expeditions, in my opinion. I am still fighting a charge on my credit card from one of the stops on our Curacau expedition. The shop merchant told me my card never went through, so I left the merchandise behind. Surprise, the charge was there after all! We didn't do any sightseeing in Jamaica but stayed at the port shops and restaurants.

The ship was lovely. Food was the best I have had on a ship (only 3 cruises so I'm not an expert, and the service was fabulous as always. Renata and Benito remembered what we liked, and it appeared on the table every evening without having to ask. The buffet always had delicious choices as well. Everyone employed by Celebrity was beyond polite and accommodating. Our room attendant Alex was the best! I was very surprised we didn't see more of the captain. Only saw him once.

I felt overall the entertainment was average - some highs and some lows! The ship's band was excellent! The group that imitated Frankie Vallie was awful. Comedian James Stephens III was hysterical and very talented. I would defintely go to see him at another location.

We felt the cabin space was adequate and had no trouble storing our clothes. We occasionally enjoyed sitting out on the balcony reading.
