Cabin: Aft-Facing Balcony

This was my first time on Norwegian Cruise ship. I have been on two other cruises on a different cruise line and a bigger ship.

I do like a bigger ship, but I did enjoy my time on this ship. I will do a break down of my experience on my cruise.

The CREW: The crew members I interacted with on a daily basis were the greatest. You could tell that they enjoy working on the ship and meeting the guest. They make you feel that what ever you need, they will try their best to make it happen. If it is not in their level to make it happen, they will find the person that can! There are two crew members that went above and beyond to make our ( I was on the cruise with my son, brother and sister-ln-law) cruise a better experience( I did use the form they provide to let them know how much we enjoyed these two crew member) If you find someone that does impress you, I recommend you fill out one of these forms.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony

Cabin B1

For the most part the cabin was like other ship cabins I have been in. This is what I did not like about the cabin.

The bathroom set up I hated! I prefer a bathroom that is enclosed. The shower never drained completely so you are standing in water. ( this was a problem with my brother and sister-in-law too, they were on the cruise with myself and son, in room 12312) I did feel there was enough privacy with just the frosted glass on the shower and toilet. I did not like the curve of the couch, because of this you could not eat over there or sit with a cup/soda/water, no place to put it. With out the curve you could have a small table there.

Port Reviews

Cannes

We took the life boat, it was great. They drop you at the dock, we walked to the town, took about 15 minutes. We walked around the town.. Very pretty. There are first street has all the big labels. If you go one block behind you will find all the local shop. They are not that expensive and have nice items to purchase, I enjoyed the town.

Florence (Livorno)

We took the a bus from the ship to a train station ( it cost 15.00 which is round trip) that took us to Pisa. From the station we took a city bus to the leaning tower of Pisa. It was not hard to do this. The train ride was about 20 minutes. We made it to Pisa and back to the ship without any problems. I would recommend doing this if you do not book an excursion on the ship.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

We took a bus(the cost was 15.00 US it is round trip too) which is charged to you on board account. The bus drops you in town. There was a craft fair and lots of shops and cafe that you can eat and shop. The bus runs every 15 minutes back to the ship. We were there for at least 5 hours.
