We chose this cruise because we love the Caribbean and 12 days is perfect. Also, we live close to the port so we don't have to worry about additional travel. The ship is a bit old but the service is awesome, the food pretty good and the intinaries are good. We spent a lot of time in the casino since my hubby likes the slots. In all our cruises we've never had a host like this time. Kaia was amazing. She was very friendly and it seemed like she stopped and talked to everyone. Also, the Captain was very nice. We saw him often in public areas. He went around a hurricane (which btw is costly) to make our trip safer. We still had a rocky night but it could have been worse! Later we heard a few ships behind chose not to go around the storm. Captain Cavala knew his job well!!

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

We were pleased with our cabin. It's the larger interior cabin and we didn't experience any problems. The plumbing worked fine and the shower curtain didn't stick to me! The location was perfect; mid-ship and close to the steps and elevator.

Port Reviews

Baltimore

This is our home port.

Antigua

We went to Runaway Beach and it was ok. We were disappointed because we told the taxi driver to take us to Dickenson Bay beach. It wasn't until later we found out that beach was a few beach's away. The weather was warm and sunny, our favorite type of weather.

Barbados

We went to another beach and used the facilities of Coco cabana. it was very nice and reasonably priced. I think it was $20 for 2 chairs and an unbrella. Ladies; the restrooms were spotless!! my only advice to this beach and possibly others is; do not take your chairs to close to the water. We were in the 2nd row and during high tide the 1st row was covered with water.

St. Lucia

We planned on shopping here but had some problems. The port they usually dock at we being dredged for bigger ships. the port we went to was close but the taxi drivers will drive you nuts.

Martinique

OK, the county is beautiful but the people are not at all friendly. Most of the people do not speak English and give you a lot of dirty looks. We took a water taxi to one of the 3 beachs offered. The first didn't look nice so we went to the next. It also wasn't so great. There were ants in the sand, that was more like dirt than sand. There weren't many lounge chairs and the ones we found were very uncomfortable. When we returned we were drenched getting from the ferry to the ship. It started to pour down rain as we got off the ferry and it wouldn't let up. So we made a run for it!!

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

We didn't do much but it was still nice. The people were pleasant and sociable unlike Martinique. Shopping was good at the port and there was a lot to choose from. We had to take a shuttle to the port but it only cost $2. They let the larger ships dock there and we docked at another place not far.
