We paid 2800 to go to Saint Thomas but they changed it to Cozumel we told them we could cruise there for 500 from galveston and not have the extra expense of flying to Miami, they were pretty rude and told us that they have the right to take us where ever they want and would not refund our money or even credit us anything for the inconvenience.

We did have a couple of credits for the better restaurants, "What a joke they gave us nothing" every restaurant we tried to go to they wanted a $15 up charge, on top of that most of the free drinks we were supposed to have, had a 3.00 up charge, the whole trip was a joke. We went to the Irish restaurant and ordered Shepards Pie it was Mashed potato with some kind of brown paste on the bottom, I,m from England I know what shepard's pie is .

All the bar staff acted like you was in there way, with the exception of a couple who i tipped very well, the pursers desk was great and very apologetic i think they understood the whole situation. I have cruised Carnival about 30 time and never had problems like this. Read more
