We always cruise in the spring or fall because our children are adults and grandchildren are with their parents. If we wanted to relax with 500 screaming kids, we would choose a Disney Cruise. Instead, this cruise was NOT advertised as a "Shrek Extravaganza" or we would have booked a different date. I do not mean to sound like a fuddy-duddy, but we have NEVER been on a cruise in October or November that was as hectic - was there a school week holiday on November 5th?? The beds were extremely uncomfortable, food was not desirable and in the Windjammer, some was so hot/spicy that we nearly choked. I asked one of the chefs "is this soup spicy?" and he said nothing in the Windjammer was spicy. WRONG!! LOTS of the food was extremely spicy and I love jalapenos, but not habaneros (as an example). The Entertainment on this ship was so bad that we left after 5 minutes and never watched another one. I think they were all the same! We usually never miss the shows at night, but deliberately skipped these shows. If you purchase a "deluxe" drink package, which means unlimited water also, the only way you get water is to go to a bar! It is not in your room unless you purchase it separately from the $380 drink package! I would suggest you choose another cruise line and leave Liberty of The Seas to sail the ocean by itself! Not worth your time and especially your money.
Our cabin was very clean and the attendant made our cruise tolerable. The bed was hard and like a camping cot. Small closet, tiny shower, but adequate if you didn't drop the soap, plenty of room for 2 in the cabin. Room service was always on time
I love shopping in Cozumel! We have been on several excursions before at this port and have enjoyed all of them.
