The Voyager is looking very tired and I was really disappointed that such a large ship is so poorly laid out. Maintenance and general cleaning in common areas needs a major upgrade. Dust prevalent, tired furniture, mouldy loose fittings, counted 16 globes out in Dining chandelier. There is so much wasted space. Had a lot of difficulty in finding a quiet place to just sit and relax in peace. The library is always full with seating for about 10-16 at most. All the bars are tiny, the star lounge and lounge on 14 always have something on which is annoying. This ship needs a big lounge, maybe over the L12 rooms forward that is just a lounge. It would have been full. A lot of travelers I spoke to said the same. Aurora/Solstice have big quiet lounges up top with somewhere to sit quietly and have a cocktail or read/cards etc and are smaller than Voyager. I realise they need to cater for everyone but found the food rather bland. There was a good variety but all tasted the same .Rant over. The one good thing were the lunch time soups, in most cases really nice.

Drinks package was good and staff were helpful although not the same drink available at all or some of the bars. When I found a nice wine I had to get from only one bar on board and take with me where ever I went, even to dinner. Why is that?. Our room attendant and staff in general were fantastic, no complaints at all. Room was a real find. 5 massive windows with a wonderful view and I imagine bigger than most suites(it was an accessible room and chance we may have been asked to move)

if your looking for an amazing ship this is probably not the one. If like me it was for the itinerary then it serves a purpose. Wouldn't necessarily travel with RCL again if I didn't have to. They could take a leaf from the siblings Celebrity, my personal favourite line.
